Loc Huynh is an artist who was born in 1992 in Austin, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas State University, with a concentration in painting in 2016. Huynh has exhibited works at various benefits and venues including MASS Gallery in Austin, Texas, The Blue Star Complex in San Antonio, Texas, and The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, Nebraska. He has also attended the Vermont Studio Residency and has been featured in New American Paintings. Huynh currently lives and works in Austin, Texas.

My work comes out of the visual language associated with design and illustration. The literal and straight-forward imagery in design is similar to the easy-to-read nature of narrative figure painting. I take advantage of the legibility of the images and exaggerate the forms to highlight the absurdity of the content in my paintings. These works have their roots in reality, but through caricature they become critiques on contemporary politics and social behaviors.
