A COLLECTION OF WILD THINGS
Our mission is to create a safe and accessible platform for artists to share their work. Our main priority is the artists, poets, writers, singers, musicians and creatives that choose to submit their work to our magazine.
We sell our magazine via Magcloud.com, as well as, maintaining an online platform for creatives to publish their work for free.
Calling all artists! We want to see what you can create!
WHAT WE DO
PM Megazine does not restrict the medium or theme of your submission, as long as it functions in a 2-D publication. Almost all submissions are guaranteed to be included in the publication at some point. Since we receive such a diverse array of submissions, we may hold onto a piece until it fits cohesively with a given issue. You will be notified when your piece is selected and will be given information on how to access digital and hard copies.
Please be aware that PM Megazine cannot compensate you for your submissions, however it’s always fun to see your work published!
We have an accepting and inclusive selection process, however, we do reserve the right to deny submissions we feel may be inappropriate or offensive. If your work qualifies under this category we will contact you to let you know we will not be able to publish your work.
We pride our magazine on being pure. This means little to no advertisements. Any advertisements we do have are for promoting our artists, writers and musicians. If you would like to submit an advertisement for your website, artisan shop, blog or personal work you can purchase ad space for $15. You may submit your own ad design or we can design an ad for you for an additional fee. Please email for more information.
Never go out after midnight. If you have to, wear all black and don't bring a flashlight.
Never let your pets go outside after dark, unless you're not particularly attached to them.
Never count on your cell phone. The towers are too far away, and the light will draw Him to you.
Never try to meet Him. You don't want to meet Him.
Never chase after cries for help...especially if they're coming from the woods.
Never believe someone's voice if you can't see them. Even if it sounds like someone you know, someone you trust. If it's dark, don't try to see. Just run.
Never eat meat the night before Summer begins, not even fish...don't let fresh blood hit the open air. Not even indoors.
Never talk about the ones who break the rules. They deserve to be forgotten.
Always remember: He's closer than you think. And He's very patient.
Fine Art Expression
We accept all forms of Fine Art as long as it has been adapted to fit a 2D platform. This means all 3D works must be documented accurately and tastefully.
Pen on Paper
We want to hear your voice in any form that may manifest itself. Whether it be a poem, prose or an article, PM Megazine considers all literary submissions.
MUSIC & VIDEO
Animation, video art, music videos and audio files; New media is a growing aspect of our daily lives. We want to see your new media work. Music and video submissions will live exclusively on our online platform.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK
To submit, all you have to do is send an email to PMwildlings@gmail.com.
It’s as simple as that!
See our submissions page for detailed information and submission forms.
THE ORIGINAL WILDLINGS
PM Megazine is a small privately owned magazine started by two University of Iowa graduates; one holding a BFA in Intermedia and the other, a BA in English Literature. Our passion for creation has surpassed the classroom as we embark on this journey to establish this magazine as not only a product but as a highly accessible service to artists.
We pride ourselves on staying as open, unpredictable and humble as possible as we provide a platform for artists to share. All profits from Magcloud sales and advertising go toward our web presence and printing our hard copies. We are a free and open space to publish work. We can’t wait to hear from you, Wildlings!
